Objective:
To create smart-technology-enabled pet food bowl prototypes to showcase at the Consumer Electronics Show in the spring of 2018.

Approach:
This market was not yet established, so we took inspiration from other consumer electronic brands like iRobot, Dyson, and LG to create a sleek & modern design. Managed a team of external contractors to help with the internal components and RFID-enabled technology. 

Results:
Created 10 fully-functional prototypes to showcase at CES 2018. The client then went on to do a small manufacturing run of these that were for sale on Amazon and their own e-commerce website. This product is no longer on the market, but the smart collar that would connect to this bowl still is.
